Band
We are proud to offer two fantastic vibrant band programs for any student and ability in Years 2 to 6:

Junior Band is for students new to music.
​
Senior Band is for students in their second year of playing and beyond.
​
Rehearsals are held before school. Junior Band on Tuesday mornings from 7:45am and Senior Band on Thursday from 7:30am.
We also encourage students to commit to a weekly 30 minute private tutor lesson.

Students are also given the opportunity to perform regularly at both school and community events throughout the year.

The P&C recognises that band is a big investment and commitment for families. To encourage inclusivity for all we are a registered Creative Kids Provider. We offer a range of instruments to hire and also provide payment options to help ease household budgets.

Meet our Band Director
Colden Anderson
Colden has First Class Honours in Music from ANU, a Licentiate & Associate Diploma in Music and a Graduate Diploma in Education. He has also studied at the Conservatorium of Music under multiple prominent Australian Musicians and the Paris Conservatoire . He has performed throughout Australia and internationally across Europe and America. He has a passion for music education and has seen his students accepted into both Classical and Jazz degrees across Australian universities as well as playing with the State Schools Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Sydney Youth Orchestra. Colden grew up in the Northern Beaches and has been developing Instrumental and Band Programs at Reddam House and Wenona, and now at our wonderful school.
